We stayed in a hotel in Pere Lachaise not far away from De Cimetière du Père-Lachaise. It is the largest cemetery in the city of Paris and I must say a very fair looking cemetery with graves that date from the 17th century. We wanted to visit the grave of Édith Piaf and Jim Morrison who lay there but the cemetery was so big and we had so little time.
Miraculous it is…
It was my first time in the Palace of Versailles or simply Versailles as we say and the beauty struck me, especially the Gardens of Versailles. Unfortunately we could not stay for as long as we pleased in the gardens because it was quite cold outside.
Never the less we enjoyed our stay had ours laughs and moments, drank some very cheap wine and listened to the song of no regrets
